Love is...

Happy Valentines Day!!!

After much thought on this subject, I have made a list of what love is and what it really means. I wanted to share it in case someone was having a hard time trying to figure it out.

Love is...never having to say your sorry??? Yeah, that one has been around and OVERUSED.
Love is...surprising your husband with a Valentine's Day card when you haven't given him one in 19 years!
Love is...taking the time to make sure your child learns their mulitiplication facts, even if it kills both of you.
Love is...taking your dog to the vet at 8am and learning about anal gland draining, don't ask!
Love is...making sure your children have milk and cereal in the morning.
Love is...having clean dishes and utensils for said milk and cereal.
Love is...allowing your child to visit a third world country WITHOUT you.
Love is...sharing Jesus Christ with your family and having your heart squashed!
Love is...cleaning the bathrooms at the church!!! Need I say more?
Love is...clearing your calendar to spend more quality time as a family!!!
Love is...taking your sick Mom to the Dr. and hoping she doesn't have the same problems as the dog!
Love is...trying on a pair of jeans that you haven't worn in over a year and you can get them on, button and zip them up!!! Praise God!!!!
Love is...being able to record "Little House on the Praire"
Love is...taking your child out for a special lunch.

And of course,

Love is..."Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves."-- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is...knowing that someone loved you so much that He died for your sins.
