Wow, I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted anything...I kept thinking, "I'll get to it".
We had a good Thanksgiving. We took a week off of Homeschool. Now we will have to get back into the groove of things again.
Marching season is now officially over. It was sad to see it end but I'm ready for the rest. Not that I will be getting any of that. Our church will be moving this week into our new building. Praise God!!!!
We are so ready for this! We have so many people that have talents and gifts that God has given them. We are so thankful they have decided to use them at our church. Cornerstone started with 3 families in the Library downtown.
We have grown to 11 families. We have many different ages and of course personalities. We are a very fertile bunch!!!
Personalities...that is where problems come from. Doesn't Christ want us to put aside personalities and get on with His business??
Why is it we (the church) educate people, have bible studies, try to give biblical advice to people but no one applies it to their own lives? Are we just studying for studying sake? To get the cool book that we can write all over? Or just to look like we are interested??
If you're not applying it to your life, why are you waisting your time?? And that of other people??
It isn't as though we can apply it for you. Understand now...I'm asking this off the top of my head and haven't search the Bible for my answers.
I feel bad for the preacher...He has so much going on that he shouldn't have to put up with pettiness. I guess when your a bigger church and you have so many people you don't have these problems? Or is it they are just overlooked??
Let's not mention having to defend my belief in Christ. When you have to do that with family, it's tough. What do you do? Believe that you make them feel awkward and apologize or stand up for what you believe? I am tired of being made to feel that I am the one that is offensive.
Didn't they stop to think that I could possibly be offended by them and their lack of belief???
These and many more are questions that keep running thru my mind. The ramblings of tired woman...notice I didn't add the word "Old".
This tired woman is now off to bed. Have a blessed week and keep the faith!!
